Most people use a foundation that is a liquid and goes on very smoothly. If you want to make your face look a little bit more like yours then you could get hold of a cream that has some pore clogging ingredients in it. These products are usually used if there are large pores in the face, which means the skin can get easily irritated. If you do get a cream that does this then it is advisable to use a separate moisturizer afterwards to seal in your make up.
To apply this type of make up you should be taking care not to make any lines or start to smudge your lines immediately after application. This is because if you do this the color will start to rub off. The most common reason for people not to allow the color to come out is they tend to touch their face with their hands. If you do so, it can cause build up and irritation to the skin. It is therefore important not to get up before you wash your hands and to also use a separate towel for applying.
Before you get to apply the colour on you should clean your face. This means you need to get rid of all the oil and dirt that are on it. Once you have done this you can then get to work applying your eye makeup.
One thing that you may struggle with Korean style make up is that the colors do not seem to mix as well as they might with some of the other types of makeup that you are using. To overcome this you need to take a cotton swab and dip it into the color of your choice. When this has been done you should gently brush the swab over your face. Try to keep the makeup on for the entire duration of the time that you are applying it. You can also use your hand to apply foundation to parts of your face that you want to get the effect of.
Once the makeup has dried you should rinse your face off with warm water. This should ensure that you get the maximum effect out of your Korean style makeup. As with most makeup the final results are entirely dependent on how you will wear the makeup. Wear it as you are comfortable with however you feel most confident and at the same time do not go overboard. Make sure you only use as much as you think you need.
